Transparent coupling
The connection from Ethernet Link to Ethernet (Layer 2) enables transparent coupling of your LANs regardless of the number of locations.
- As no routers are required, the Ethernet link is simply connected directly to the network.
- It is also possible to divide the network into logically separate virtual networks according to individual requirements using VLAN.
- Both point-to-point and any-to-any topologies can be realized via Ethernet link.
- Traffic class prioritization of time-critical data (Class of Service – CoS) is also possible.
