Business Mobile Plan comparison – FAQs
B2B mobile contracts often go unreviewed for years, even though the market keeps moving. New tariffs, changed roaming conditions, new carrier packages and shifting usage profiles make regular comparison economically attractive. In practice, we see savings potential of 20 to 40 percent against the current contract in every second company. Even without changing carrier, 10 to 20 percent can often be achieved by switching to a better tariff with the existing provider. Comparison should happen every 24 months or at every contract renewal.
The three network operators in Germany are Deutsche Telekom (D1 network), Vodafone (D2 network) and Telefónica O2 (O2 network). 1&1 is currently building a fourth network but uses national roaming with O2 and Vodafone until full coverage. In addition, numerous service providers and MVNOs such as freenet Business, Sipgate Team, Drillisch or Vodafone Business offer tariffs on one of the three networks. SAVECALL objectively compares all providers with access to the respective network and filters by network quality, tariff conditions and service level.
The most important criteria are network coverage at the main site and travel regions, included data volume (DACH, EU, worldwide), roaming conditions outside the EU, pool models for shared data volume, hardware pricing for company phones, contract terms and notice periods, service levels and response times for incidents, and integrated value-added services such as MDM, eSIM or multi-SIM. SAVECALL creates an objective comparison matrix based on your actual requirements, not on list price alone.
In practice, savings potential typically ranges from 20 to 40 percent against existing contracts, and significantly more in individual cases with older framework agreements. The biggest levers are tariff consolidation across all employees instead of individual contracts, pool models for shared data volume, removal of unused options, renegotiation at contract renewal and switching to more economical tariffs in the same network. Through the SAVECALL procurement pool, you additionally secure conditions not available to individual companies.
The process starts with a baseline analysis of your current contracts, invoices and usage profiles. Within 5 working days you receive an initial savings indication. On this basis, we calculate concrete alternative offers from all relevant carriers and service providers. You receive an objective comparison matrix with a recommendation. For desired changes, SAVECALL handles contract termination, number porting and SIM card provisioning. You typically see first savings within 60 to 90 days.
Telekom is often the first choice in the D1 network for companies with high requirements for network coverage and service quality, especially with broad needs in rural regions. Vodafone offers comparable network quality in many regions at more attractive conditions and is strong with pool models. O2 is often the most competitive on price and technically equivalent in major cities, while coverage varies in rural regions. For most companies a mix makes sense, for example Telekom for critical field service staff and O2 or Vodafone for office staff. SAVECALL analyses network quality site-by-site.
The cost of business mobile depends on the included data volume, the chosen network and the number of contracts. Standard business tariffs range from 25 to 60 euros per employee per month at list price, depending on data volume. Through pool models and framework agreements, the average cost per user drops significantly, often to 18 to 35 euros depending on pool size and usage profile. The best business tariff is rarely the one with the lowest list price, but the one whose network performs at your sites and whose conditions match your actual usage. SAVECALL determines this carrier-independently across all providers and secures conditions through its procurement pool that are not available to individual companies.
The right business mobile tariff depends on four factors: network coverage at your sites and travel regions, the actual data usage per user group, roaming requirements outside the EU and the desired contract flexibility. It makes sense to first analyse real usage from your recent invoices instead of deciding by list price. For companies with mixed profiles, a combination of several networks is often worthwhile, for example a strong network for field staff and a more cost-effective one for office staff. SAVECALL creates an objective comparison matrix based on your requirements and provides a clear recommendation.
Business customers can choose between the framework contract tariffs of the three network operators Telekom, Vodafone and Telefónica o2 as well as the offerings of numerous service providers. Business mobile tariffs differ from consumer tariffs mainly through pool models for shared data volume, better roaming conditions, central management of multiple SIM cards and integrated value-added services such as Mobile Device Management or Multi-SIM. As a telecom provider for companies, what matters is less the individual tariff than the right overall package of network, conditions and service. SAVECALL compares the business tariffs of all providers carrier-independently and finds the most cost-effective solution for your company.
