SAVECALL at the Munich Security Conference (MSC) 2026

SAVECALL at the Munich Security Conference 2026

SAVECALL was represented by our CEO Nikolaus von Johnston as part of a diplomatic delegation at the 62nd Munich Security Conference (MSC) – the world’s most important forum for international security policy. From February 13 to 15, 2026, at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, among over 50 heads of state and government.

Why a telecom and IT sourcing company at a security conference? Because telecommunications is critical infrastructure. What is negotiated at the MSC – geopolitical stability, digital sovereignty, cyber resilience – directly affects our customers’ networks, cloud systems and communication infrastructures.

Carrier redundancy, cloud architectures, cyber resilience, strategic dependencies – these are not abstract conference topics. This is our day-to-day business.

What this means for our customers

The insights and discussions at the MSC – with decision-makers from politics, business and security architecture – naturally also flow into our consulting services. Those who understand how geopolitical conditions are shifting make better infrastructure decisions for their customers. Carrier strategies, cloud sovereignty, network resilience – we assess these topics not from theory, but first-hand.

SAVECALL brings the perspective that arises at the interface of technology, regulation and geopolitics – vendor-neutral, with over 80 carrier partners and the aim of making dependencies visible before they become a risk.

Highlight: State reception and Ewald von Kleist Prize

The MSC shows its impact not only on the big stage – but in direct exchange, 1:1, at eye level.

A special moment: the Bavarian State Government dinner in the Kaisersaal of the Munich Residence. Small circle, personal invitation. The highlight was the awarding of the Ewald von Kleist Prize – for the first time not to an individual, but to the citizens of Ukraine. President Selensky accepted the prize on behalf of the citizens. His speech was moving and characterized by great gratitude: “Thank you, thank you – for supporting us.”

European security is not a theory. It is a historical responsibility – and it also starts with infrastructure.
