    Origin & future vision

Global IoT connectivity visualization showing cloud, server, globe, user, and device icons interconnected on a glowing circuit board, representing Savecall-IoT-Connect's GSMA-certified core network supporting 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and LPWAN mobile standards.

    Origin

The idea behind Savecall-IoT-Connect is simple but effective: with its own GSMA-certified core network, Savecall enables secure and consistent global data transmission. The aim was to simplify international connectivity – without country-specific contracts, physical SIM cards or manual tariff changes. Instead, the solution offers automated compatibility and full cost control via a central platform.

    Vision of the future

Savecall-IoT-Connect supports all common mobile radio standards such as 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and LPWAN. Data is transmitted securely via certified IP services, and regular updates ensure compatibility with new technologies. An integrated bootstrap profile enables an immediate start and the subsequent addition of further operator profiles.

eSIM as the basis for SAVECALL
    IoT-Connect

The eSIM forms the technological basis of Savecall-IoT-Connect. Originally used in the consumer market, for example in smartwatches, it has now established itself in the professional environment. It saves space, is resistant to moisture and vibrations and is suitable for compact devices.

Their real advantage lies in the eUICC functionality: network profiles and tariffs can be updated remotely at any time. There is no need to replace physical cards. OEMs thus reduce costs considerably. In addition, Savecall provides classic M2M SIM cards with eUICC functionality as well as consumer eSIM profiles in accordance with SGP.22, so that companies can also benefit from Savecall IoT Connect without having to switch completely to eSIM technology.
