EthernetConnect Flex 10 Gbit/s
- The bandwidth of 10Gbit/s is transferred to the customer at up to 8 different interfaces.

Product features at a glance
The following product features are available for both variants (EthernetConnect Flex 10G and EthernetConnect Flex 100G):
1) Layer 1 encryption with AES256
Encryption is carried out using the latest cryptographic methods and standards.
AES encryption during mapping:
AES encryption is performed with low latency when mapping the Ethernet signal into the optical transport container (ODU2e).
Session key (AES session key):
The session key is only exchanged between the communication partners within secure hardware and is periodically renewed.
Key exchange procedure:
The AES session key is exchanged using the Diffie-Hellman-Merkle key exchange (RFC 3526) with a 4096-bit key.
Preconfigured fingerprints:
The fingerprints are preconfigured by our authorized personnel at our secure operating sites.
Authentication of the end points:
Hashes (fingerprints) of the two public keys are used to authenticate the endpoints.
2) Proactive fault management
PFM is a service that can be booked in addition to the booked service level to optimize fault clearance on the EthernetConnect connection. Network-side monitoring 24 hours a day, 365 days a year detects the fault in the event of an alarm message before the customer notices it.
