Colt Charity Bike Ride Event 2019

For the eighth time, the “Colt Charity Bike Ride” is cycling for a good cause. In September, 130 employees set off from Munich to Vienna, covering a total of 540 kilometers. Each employee collects money for various regional projects. In Germany for brotZeit e. V. brotZeit e.V. supports over 220 schools. 10,000 children receive a balanced breakfast every morning. As at December 31, 2018, more than 7.5 million meals had been distributed. According to the UN, one in four primary school children in Germany goes to school without breakfast, suffers from hunger and is unable to concentrate. The idea came from actress Uschi Glas in 2008, who is still driving the work of brotZeit with a dedicated team today. Hunger before the start of school does not have to be the case – with 9,999 euros, over 1,300 brotZeit seniors provide over 5,000 children from different ethnic backgrounds with a fortifying breakfast before the start of lessons every day.
